About Us

The Health Supply Chain Transformation Consortium, in partnership with various state governments, seeks to ensure that authentic medicines and commodities are always available in public healthcare facilities at an affordable cost through a self-sustaining model.

Role of the Consortium in the State

01.

Product Supply

All the medicines and medical consumables need of the health facilities are provided with zero upfront investment by the Government.

02.

Technology Deployment

Deployment of software and hardware devices to digitize the health supply chain system.

03.

Retail Support Staffing

 Provide supplementary staffing at the facility-based pharmacy units to manage inventory.

04.

Revenue Collection

Implement payment systems and machines at the facilities to ensure digital accountability and transparency of revenues.

Role of the Goverment

STATE MINISTRY OF HEALTH

  • Active co-operation & transformation leadership.
  • Monitoring & evaluation of the Project (directly or via its Drug Management Agency).
  • Ensure human resource capacity at the Facility Level Pharmacy Units.
  • Coordinate integration of donor participation in the transformed logistics system, esp. aerial logistics.

AGENCIES (Primary Healthcare & Insurance)

  • Strategic purchasing of drugs from the Project (directly or through the State’s Drug Management Agency)

HEALTH FACILITIES (Tertiary, Secondary, & Primary)

  • Active co-operation especially in demand forecasting, requisitions, & retail management.
  • Dispensing and utilization of the
    products/commodities.

Our Projects

01.

Cross River State

“This is another giant stride for us in the health sector of our State as we reach an understanding with the Consortium to implement the Health Supply Chain Transformation Project. The State healthcare policy as we know revolves around the provision of quality healthcare services for the people and that’s our aim if we must achieve Universal Health Coverage.
